Carol B. Kubasti, 76, a resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on Saturday morning, September 23, 2017, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, surrounded by her loving family.
Her beloved husband is Robert B. Kubasti. Together, Bob and Carol celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 1st.
Born on August 04, 1941, in Courtdale, Carol was one of four children born to the late Henry and Anna (Whitson) Zimmerman.
A homemaker most of her life, Carol lovingly tended to the daily needs of her home and family.
Carol was a past member of the former Holy Name/Saint Mary’s Parish Community, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
A woman of many enjoyments, Carol especially enjoyed cooking for her family, playing bingo, and dining at various restaurants with her husband, most especially Chinese restaurants.
Above all, Carol’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were the light of her life and she held a special place in her heart for each of them.
In addition to her parents, Henry and Anna Zimmerman, Carol was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Donna Marie Kubasti; her brothers, Henry and Daniel Zimmerman; and her sister, Elmira Hizney.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Carol is survived by her son, Daniel Kubasti and his wife, Lisa, Shickshinny; her daughters, Connie Hacker and her husband, Dwayne, Tuscarora; and Tammy Nutaitis, Kingston; her seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 10:30 AM, from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, her Pastor, officiating.
Private Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Thursday morning, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, at the funeral home.
