Beverly A. Froncek, 74, a resident of Dallas, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Thursday morning, September 28, 2023, in the comfort of her home.
Her beloved husband was the late Thomas J. Froncek Sr., who passed away on June 13, 2021. Thomas and Beverly were blessed to share nearly 49 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on January 29, 1949, in Wilkes-Barre, Beverly was one of two children born to the late Edward Kobeski and Kathleen “Minnie” Chipelewski Kobeski.
Raised in the Heights section of Wilkes-Barre, Beverly was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Class of 1966.
Beverly was currently employed as an automotive office manager for Bergey’s of Wilkes-Barre, at their Larksville dealership, and was also employed in the same capacity for many years by Wyoming Valley Motors prior to the company selling its Larksville dealership to Bergey’s.
Finding peace and strength in her Catholic faith, Beverly had great devotion to Saint Ann participating in the annual 9-day solemn novena at Saint Ann’s Basilica, Scranton.
Beverly was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Andrew Lawrence Post 644, Swoyersville, and was also a member of the Wyoming Hose Company #2, Wyoming.
Beverly’s life was rooted in the love she had for her family and although her love was equally shared, her grandchildren held the most special place in her heart – they were the light of her life!
Never missing an opportunity to make memories with her loved ones, she enjoyed her Friday “Ladies Club” get-togethers with her family, and friends who were like family; trips to her son’s home in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she would enjoy visiting the local vineyards; going on shopping trips, weekend get-aways, and vacations with her family, especially the bi-annual vacations she would take with her husband, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pattie and Butch, and their friends; and cooking her famous dishes for her family.
Beverly’s presence will be missed beyond measure and the memories her family holds in their hearts will be cherished forever. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of being a loving, devoted, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Edward and Kathleen Kobeski, and her husband, Thomas, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Frank “Butch” Conniff; her sister-in-law, Geraldine Froncek Stark and brother-in-law, Clifford Stark; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Mildred Froncek.
Left to cherish Beverly’s memory are her two children, Tami L. Orlando, Dallas; and Thomas J. Froncek Jr. and his companion, Whitney Hudson, Charlottesville, Virginia; her four grandchildren, Logan Orlando, Piper Froncek, Pierce Froncek, and Matty Glick; her brother, Gary Kobeski and his fiancée, Mary Ellen Rebo, Plains Township; her sister-in-law, Patricia “Pattie” Conniff, West Wyoming; as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
