Her loving husband is Salvatore “Sal” Bottaro. A story book romance, Sal and Antonietta’s love for each other began at the age of 8, and together they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on April 11th
Born on March 01, 1947, in Pozzuoli, Province of Napoli, Italy, Antonietta was the daughter of the late Alberto and Concetta (Nasti) Bianchini.
Raised in Italy, Antonietta received her preliminary education there, and later went on to train at the Terme di Agnano in Napoli.
In 1970, Sal and Antonietta immigrated to the United States aboard the ship “Michelangelo”, settling in Pennsylvania. During her early years in the United States, she worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry, and in 1988, she and her husband established their family business, Sal’s Pizza, Subs & More, in Forty Fort, and had proudly worked side-by-side with her husband and children ever since.
Sal and Antonietta were blessed to build a successful life together, and their life story serves as an inspiration to all immigrants who aspire living the American dream. Antonietta was truly the pillar of her family. Her constant support and her strong, loving and compassionate nature was the driving force for her husband, children and grandchildren. Her beautiful presence will be deeply missed not only by her family, but also by the many people whose lives she touched throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, Alberto and Concetta Bianchini, Antonietta was preceded in death by her sister, Vittoria (Bianchini) Romano; and her niece, Lisa (Brutko) Loiselle.
