Angelo J. Licata, 95, a resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life on his late wife’s birthday, Tuesday, February 21, 2023, with his loving family at his side.
His beloved wife was the late Helen A. Volack Licata, who passed away on May 06, 2022. Angelo and Helen were blessed to share nearly 71 beautiful years of marriage.

Raised in Swoyersville, Angelo was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1945.
A United States Army veteran, Angelo honorably served his country for a year and a half at the end of World War II. He was honorably discharged from the Army following the unexpected passing of his father, returning home to assist his mother with operation of the family grocery business in Swoyersville.
Prior to his retirement, Angelo was employed for many years as a territorial manager for Gerber Food Products.
