On Monday morning, September 05, 2022, Angeline “Angie” Jones, 88, a resident of Larksville, took her last breath to spend the eternal life with her beloved husband, Harold, who preceded her in death on February 01, 1990.
Born on November 21, 1933, in Luzerne, Angeline was one of eight children born to the late Joseph Bartorillo Sr. and Mary Troiani Bartorillo.
Raised in Luzerne, Angie attended the former Luzerne High School, and later moved to New Jersey, where she began her career as a payroll clerk for Royal Foods, Carteret, New Jersey, retiring from there after 25 years. Following her retirement, Angie returned to the local area, settling in Larksville, so she could spend more time with her loving family and her beautiful extended family.
A woman of great faith, Angie was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
Angie was blessed to travel the world during her retirement years. She loved to cook and bake, and like most Italian mothers and grandmothers, Angie was always ready and willing to feed her family.
In addition to her parents, Joseph Bartorillo Sr. and Mary Bartorillo, and her husband, Harold, Angie was preceded in death by her son, Robert Sutton, who passed away on September 03, 2015; her step-daughter, Judith Henry; her son-in-law, Michael Rosenko Sr.; her brothers, John, Peter, Joseph Jr., and Dean Bartorillo; her sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Richard Rosenko Sr.; and her brother in-law, John Bresnahan.
Angie is survived by her loving children, Marie Rosenko, Exeter; and David Sutton, Doylestown; her step-daughter, Lynda Morris and her husband, John Kazmark, New Jersey; her 11 grandchildren, including her step-grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren, including her step-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lucy Bresnahan, Exeter; and Mary Kodaski and her husband, Daniel, Luzerne; as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Friday, September 09, 2022, at 9:45 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:15 AM in Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett Street, Luzerne.
