Stanley Joseph Latoski, 79, a resident of Wilkes-Barre, passed unexpectedly into eternal life on Sunday morning, August 02, 2026, in the comfort of his home.
His loving wife is Joyce A. Saluski Latoski with whom Stanley celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on July 24th.
Born on February 14, 1947, in Luzerne, Stanley was one of three sons born to the late Stanley L. Latoski and Alice R. Kazmeroski Latoski.
Raised in Luzerne, Stanley was a graduate of the former Luzerne High School, Class of 1964.
Prior to his retirement, Stanley was employed as a shipping supervisor for Leslie Fay at its former facility in Wilkes-Barre.
Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, Stanley was a longtime member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston. With prayer being the cornerstone of his life, he prayed continually from the prayer book he carried with him at all times.
Throughout his life, Stanley had a love for travel. In his earlier years, he was blessed to travel all over the world and also enjoyed countless ski trips. In more recent years, he and his wife, Joyce, traveled to various places across the United States and especially enjoyed their many trips to Atlantic City.
Stanley also enjoyed cooking and had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially the two bunnies he and Joyce had over the years: Georgette and Chester “Chetty.”
In addition to his parents, Stanley and Alice, Stanley was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Latoski and Robert Latoski.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce, who was the love of his life, as well as generations of nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Stanley’s wishes, the viewing and funeral service will be private for family and close friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston. The Reverend Father Michael Boris, Assistant Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Ignatius Loyola Cemetery, Pringle.
The Latoski Family entrusted Stanley’s funeral arrangements to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
