Sofie Guss, 91, wife of Walter R. Guss, a resident of West Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

Born on November 04, 1933, in Nürnberg, Germany, Sofie was the daughter of the late George and Dorthea Naeser.

Sofie was a devoted mother, wife, and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, George and Dorthea Naeser, Sofie was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaclyn Garber; and her son, Peter Naeser.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Walter, and their children, Dr. Walter R. Guss II, Harrisburg; and Deborah Bizub, Plains Township; her grandchildren, Jorge Naeser, Heidi Boykin, Shelby Bizub Esq., and Sabrina Garber; and her great-granddaughter, Eloise Boykin.

A private family funeral service will be held, followed by burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

The Guss Family entrusted Sofie’s funeral arrangements to the care of the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
