Shari Lynn Dailey, 63, a resident of Luzerne, passed away on Friday, April 03, 2026, with her daughters by her side.

Born on July 15, 1962, in Sussex, New Jersey, Shari was the daughter of the late Charles Soules of Mooresville, North Carolina, and the late Dorothy Groover Yarashes of Luzerne. She was the stepdaughter of the late John Yarashes, who was an important part of her life.

Shari is reunited with her love, the late Thomas Harvey Dailey Sr.; though no longer married, they never stopped loving one another.

Lovingly known as “Grammie,” Shari deeply cherished this role in her life. Her world truly revolved around her grandchildren, Noah, Mykel, Emilee, Mariah, Lilly, and Paisley.

To many others, she was known as “The Donut Lady” at Gerrity’s Supermarket in Luzerne, where she was loved by her coworkers and customers.

In addition to her parents, stepfather, and love of her life, Shari was preceded in death by her niece, Brandy Hulse.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Megan Dailey Williams, Nanticoke; Ashley Hess and her husband, Joe, Hughestown; and Adam Dailey, Luzerne, together with their families.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation which will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. A viewing for the immediate family was held privately.
