Her loving husband is Fred J. DeLucca with whom Ruthie would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on August 20th.
Born on January 01, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, Ruthie was the only child born to the late Howard Sterling and Edna Cragle Sterling.
Raised in Kingston, Ruthie was a graduate of the former Kingston High School, Class of 1961, and, following high school, went on to further her education at the former Wilkes-Barre Business College, graduating from there in 1963.
A devoted homemaker most of her life, Ruthie took great pride in tending to the daily needs of her family.
Ruthie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, most especially cooking for her loved ones, going on walks and taking rides in the car with her husband, and, being a lover of sweets, enjoying a delicious dessert, especially cakes and cookies. Above all, Ruthie was happiest spending time with her family and friends.
