Paul honorably served our churches in the very challenging role and vocation of cantor. He served with dedication, experience, love of our Byzantine faith and heritage, and with a deep love of God. This extended beyond the boundaries of our church buildings when he accompanied our priests in other acts of ministry for our parishioners. We cannot and will not forget his smile and greetings to us, a special gift and grace that flowed from the Holy Spirit. He will be missed greatly. Condolences to his entire family. May he rest in peace enveloped in the light of our Lord, and with the eternal praises of heavenly choirs. Blessed Memory. Vichnaya pamyat.

Sincere condolences to the Dzurisin family. My parents, Ed & Marie Havrilla, went to St Nicholas for many years, and I remember Dorothy and Rita from childhood. Mr Dzurisin was a lovely man, blessed with a wonderful voice. I am grateful he was able to do the service for my Dad’s funeral in June 2015. He will be missed; May he Rest In Peace.
