Mary Ann Timek, 72, a resident of Pittston Township, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, February 17, 2014, at her home.
Her husband is Stanley M. Timek. Together, Stanley and Mary Ann shared 49 years of marriage.
Born on October 08, 1941, in Luzerne, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Anthony S. Mandycz and Mary J. (Brutko) Mandycz.
Mary Ann was a graduate of the former Luzerne High School, Class of 1959.
A homemaker most of her life, Mary Ann took great pride in tending to the daily needs of her home and family.
Mary Ann was a faithful woman who was a member of Christian Biblical Church of God, Mount Pocono.
A woman of many enjoyments, Mary Ann especially enjoyed traveling with her husband and niece, making candy and working in her garden. Above all, Mary Ann’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her beloved family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Anthony and Mary Mandycz, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Rebecca and Sandra Timek; her brothers, George, Raymond and Anthony Mandycz; her sisters, Josephine Reilly and Helen Federici.
In addition to her husband, Stanley, Mary Ann is survived by her children, Stanley M. Timek, Jr. (Eileen), Lansdale; Suzanne Tiffany (Tom Oprendick), Pittston; and Marianne Kofil (Michael), Saint Augustine, Florida; her grandchildren, Tanya Tiffany, Kyle Tiffany and Matthew Timek; her brothers, Leonard Mandycz (Violet), Bath; Albert Mandycz, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey; her numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary Ann’s Funeral Service which will be celebrated on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 10:30 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, with her husband, Stanley M. Timek, Deacon with Christian Biblical Church of God, Mount Pocono, officiating.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and again on Friday morning, from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service, at the funeral home.
