John Steven Schuh, 61, a resident of Wyoming, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, August 30, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
His beloved companion is Patrick J. Hines. Together, John and Patrick shared 27 wonderful years.
Born on November 17, 1953, in Wheeling, Illinois, John was the son of the late Adolph and Betty Jane Schuh.
John received his early education in Wheeling, Illinois, and later went on to attend college, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance.
For the past seven years, John had been employed as a caregiver for Step-by-Step, Inc., Wilkes-Barre. While residing in Washington D.C., he was employed for many years as a logistician for MKI Systems, Springfield, Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Adolph and Betty Jane Schuh, John was preceded in death by his only brother, Michael Schuh.
In addition to his companion, Patrick J. Hines, John is survived by Patrick’s brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews – all of whom he regarded as his own family.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend John’s Blessing Service which will be celebrated on Thursday, September 03, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, with Deacon James Cortegerone of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Pittston, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pittston.
