Raised in Swoyersville, Jim was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1982.
Jim was currently employed by Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, working in the clinical maintenance department since 2000. Prior to that, he was employed by both JD Wholesale, Scranton, and RJ Walker, Wilkes-Barre and Luzerne.

Jim was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at the American Legion, Andrew Lawrence Post 644, Swoyersville, where he and Carol enjoyed socializing with friends.
An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed taking his boat out for a day of fishing; going on walks; and the occasional ride on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Jim was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and, most importantly, the best Pop Pop ever to his three beautiful, adoring grandsons. An affectionate, dedicated, and hard-working man, Jim always put the needs of others before his own. Although his presence will be sadly missed by his family and friends, they will cherish the memory of his genuine, compassionate nature, as well as his witty sense of humor – he will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever!
