Isabella M. Wyda Wisniewski, 88, a resident of Wilkes-Barre Township, and formerly of Kingston, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on March 17, 1933, in Kingston, Isabella was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary V. (Sobek) Wyda.
Prior to her retirement, Isabella was employed for 30 years by the Ramada Inn, formerly of Wilkes-Barre.
Isabella was a member of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Parish, West Pittston.
A woman of many enjoyments, Isabella enjoyed traveling to Lancaster and Atlantic City; shopping; cooking for her family; reading; doing word finds; and watching the daily news. She was a lover of animals throughout her life who greatly enjoyed the time she shared with her dogs and cats, as well as her grand “fur-babies”.
In addition to her parents, Stephen and Mary Wyda, Isabella was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Wyda Jr.
Isabella is survived by her daughter, Linda Mascelli, Wilkes-Barre Township.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Isabella’s viewing which will be held on Monday morning, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. A Blessing Service will commence at 10:00 AM. Monsignor John J. Sempa, Pastor of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Parish, West Pittston, will officiate.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Cemetery, Pringle.
