Dr. Lynne M. Sieminski M.D., 52, a resident of Forty Fort, passed into eternal life on Saturday evening, August 08, 2015, at Celtic Healthcare Hospice, Inpatient Unit at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born on November 16, 1962, in Swoyersville, Lynne was the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (McGuire) Sieminski, of Laflin.
Lynne was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Class of 1980. She began her formal education at Penn State University, Main Campus, where she received her Bachelor Degree and Master’s Degree. She then went on to attend and graduate from Georgetown Medical School, Washington D.C.
Dr. Sieminski performed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Her career in internal medicine began in the Emergency Room at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Dr. Sieminski then moved on to Beth-Israel Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, and later, Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Most recently, she was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township.
A woman of many enjoyments, Lynne especially loved gardening around her home. Many will remember Lynne for her great love of animals, especially for her beloved collies, Kendra and Willow.
In addition to her parents, Robert and Marilyn Sieminski, Lynne is survived by her brother, Robb Sieminski, Swoyersville, and her favorite niece, Speedie; her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass which will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 10:30 AM in Saint Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, with the Reverend James J. Walsh, Pastor, officiating.
A Private Interment Service with the Rite of Committal will follow the Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
There will be no public calling hours.
