Dorothea Brominski, 92, a lifelong resident of Swoyersville, passed peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in the comfort of her home with her daughter at her side.
Her husband was the late Judge Bernard C. Brominski, who passed away on January 26, 2000.
Born on October 24, 1923, in Swoyersville, Dorothea was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Bartosh) Stefanick.
Dorothea devoted her life to her loving husband, daughter, and grandson. She truly cherished ever moment she had with her loved ones.
A longtime member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville, Dorothea was currently a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
In addition to her parents, Paul and Mary Stefanick, and her husband, Judge Bernard C. Brominski, Dorothea was preceded in death by her brothers, John and William Stefanick; and her sister, Marge Hubanks.
Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Sieminski and her husband, Dr. Louis Sieminski, Shavertown; her grandson, Attorney Jason Sieminski and his wife, Cheray Lynch Sieminski, Philadelphia; as well her nieces and nephews.
A private family Blessing Service was held on Saturday, March 19, 2016. The Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, officiated the service.
Dorothea was laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Saint Stephen’s Cemetery, Lehman Township.
