Dolores R. Andrzejewski, 81, a resident of Swoyersville, passed into eternal life early Sunday morning, March 14, 2021, at Residential Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, following a brief illness.
Born on May 28, 1939, in Swoyersville, Dolores was one of three children born to the late Walter and Rose (Lepo) Andrzejewski.
Raised in Swoyersville, Dolores was a graduate of the former Swoyersville High School, Class of 1957.
Prior to her retirement, Dolores was employed for 51 years as an office manager for Lewith and Freeman Real Estate, Inc., at both their Wilkes-Barre and Kingston offices.
A faithful Catholic, Dolores was a lifelong member of the former Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Swoyersville. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville.
Dolores has many enjoyments in life especially knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, and watching Shirley Temple movies and old Westerns. Above all, her greatest enjoyment in life was being surrounded by her family and she treasured every moment she shared with her loved ones. Although her presence will be deeply missed, there is much joy in knowing she is reunited in Heaven with her parents, brother, and those loved ones who have gone before her.
In addition to her parents, Walter and Rose Andrzejewski, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Andrzejewski, who passed away on December 09, 2001.
Dolores is survived by her brother, Walter R. Andrzejewski and his wife, Maureen, Berwick; her sister-in-law, Lorraine Burke Andrzejewski, Swoyersville; her nieces, Mara Morell, Lori Andrzejewski, and Diane Ruhmel; her nephew, Ronald Andrzejewski Jr.; her great-nieces, Brennan Morell and Bailey Bobkoskie; and her great-nephew, Dominic Morell.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 9:30 AM from the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, with the Reverend Joseph J. Pisaneschi, her Pastor, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Family and Friends are invited to attend Dolores’ viewing which will be held on Wednesday morning, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, at the funeral home.
