Deidre A. (Albert) Phillips, 49, a resident of Dallas and formerly of the North End section of Wilkes-Barre, passed into eternal life on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017, at her home.
Her beloved husband was the late Reggie L. Phillips, who passed away on June 30, 2011. Together, Reggie and Deidre shared nearly 12 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on August 29, 1967, in Wilkes-Barre, Deidre was the daughter of Delores J. (Kadtke) Albert, Dallas, and the late Edward J. Albert, who passed away on August 21, 2008.
Deidre was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1985. Following her high school graduation, Deidre moved to Pittsburgh and attended the Pittsburgh School of Business. Eventually, she relocated to Hartford, Connecticut, where she attended Flight Attendant School.
For some years, Deidre resided in Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked for a consulting firm. She then moved to Washington D.C. where she met the love of her life, her late husband Reggie. Their married life was beautiful and exciting, and they were blessed to live in many different places and share many great experiences during their 12 years together.
Following the death of her husband, Deidre relocated to Dallas where she started her own event and party planning business, operating it until her passing.
Deidre was a social connoisseur and had a large circle of friends. A selfless, vivacious, outgoing and giving woman, Deidre loved her family and friends, most especially her two nephews, Jarret and Jeffrey – her love was by far her thriving attribute.
A lover of animals, Deidre had a great devotion for her two loyal dogs, Hunter and Sebastian.
In addition to her mother, Delores J. Albert, Deidre is survived by her brother, Edward J. Albert II and his wife, Kim, Hanover Township; her nephews, Jarret and Jeffrey Albert; her step-son, Ryan Phillips, Texas; as well as her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Deidre’s Blessing Service which will be celebrated on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 11:15 AM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, with Monsignor John J. Sempa, pastor of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Parish, West Pittston, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday morning, from 10:15 to 11:15 AM, at the funeral home.
