Aline A. “Sis” Poonawalla, 82, a 7-year resident of Dunmore Health Care Center, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 08, 2022, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born on February 18, 1940, in Dunmore, Aline was the daughter of the late Lyman J. Price and Eileen Deykes Price.

Residing in Dunmore most of her life, Aline was a graduate of Dunmore High School, Class of 1958, and was a devoted homemaker most of her life.

In addition to her parents, Lyman and Eileen Price, Aline was preceded in death by her only daughter, Sherri Fedele; and her brother, Lyman Price Jr.

Aline is survived by her granddaughter, Sherrise Barbetti and her husband, Michael, Dunmore; and her great-granddaughter, Amadora Barbetti, whom she adored with all her heart.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in Saint Paul’s Parish, 1510 Penn Avenue, Scranton.

Private interment will take place in Dunmore Cemetery.
